SAFETY

"SAFETY" IS NOT A POLICY STATEMENT:
IT'S AN ACTIVE VERB

Our commitment to safety controls every phase of every job: Planning, Approach and Execution.

The photo to the right features Travis Miller at BAFB performing a safety training for IEC SABER Team and our subcontractors. IEC makes it a regular practice to contribute to the safety culture of the communities we operate within by offering safety training and certifications, free of charge, to our customers and subcontractors. In the referenced photos, IEC Corporate Safety Manager, Travis Miller- provides CPR and First Aid Training to IEC’s subcontracting partners and IEC employees. All participants of this training program will receive nationally recognized certifications that can be used on future projects/scenarios.

We’re committed to providing a safe work environment for our employees, partners and customers for two reasons: It’s right for business, and it’s just the right thing to do.

SAFETY PLANNING

From the beginning, we know how our safety procedures and plan will be applied most effectively and logically for each task, delivery order or project, regardless of magnitude.

STAKEHOLDER COORDINATION

We communicate expectations, guidelines, and deliverables for all – employees, subcontractors, vendors, and customers.

SAFETY ACCOUNTABILITY

We insist on safety compliance and the proper execution of safety practices throughout. We regularly, randomly, and thoroughly inspect our safety benchmarks and love to catch people doing the right things.

SAFETY EVOLUTION

Our work environment is always changing, so our safety plan is always evolving. We never stop looking for ways to improve our approach.
