T&D Engineering Growth for IEC Engineering

The T&D Engineering market is one that's defined by significant workload for well qualified firms to help in supporting the needs of our electrical grid. In other words, there is plenty of work to go around for good companies that provide value. This workload will support and reward a smart and strategic growth plan to take on the challenges we tackle in the electrical utility landscape.

To best meet the needs of the market; IEC has adopted a growth strategy that is selective, conservative, and calculated. As we build out the team, we take care to establish a ratio of diversity and tenure of experience, while protecting our culture of teamwork, client focus and quality. We've welcomed great additions to our team in 2022 and continue to recruit, qualify, and train the best talent to keep and maintain the responsible growth of this exciting division of IEC.

We are happy to welcome two new team members in quarter 3 - Adriano Gussoni and Travis Hensley.

Adriano is recent graduate from the University of Central Florida, where he earned a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering with a focus on Power and Renewable Energy Technologies.

Adriano's experience living abroad offers a unique and valued perspective that will add to our team at IEC in many ways. He is fluent in various languages and chosen to relocate to the great city of Kansas City to start his career.

Travis is a recent graduate from Kansas State University where he earned a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering. While at KSU, he enjoyed Power System Design and Linear Systems studies.

He is the recipient of the Dillon Electrical Engineering Scholarship. A Kansas native, Travis is an active member of his community and has earned his Eagle Scout rank through the Boy Scouts of America.

"We are very excited to welcome both Adriano and Travis to the IEC Team. They both demonstrate the qualities, character, and culture that we seek and value. I'm eager to see their talents applied to a promising career in engineering at IEC." (Nilson Goes).

Welcome Adriano and Travis!
